International Departure Cruise Tax

Total of other fees: $385.15 per person

A $70.00 per person gratuity will automatically be added to your sail and sign card during the cruise.

When you check in for the cruise you will need to give them a credit card that can be used to purchase items aboard the ship. This is called a “Sail and Sign” card. You must carry this card with you at all times. You must have your card to get on and off the ship. The last night of the cruise you will be given an itemized list of everything you purchased onboard. This will be charged to the credit card you gave them at the first of the cruise. The $70.00 gratuity will be charged at that time.

Optional Vacation Protection Plan is available. Prices start as low as $53 per person and are based on age, cabin selection, and the amount of coverage you require. Please call for your individual quote. 1-808-325-1269 Hawaii Time or 1-417-589-0104 Central Time.

EVERY PASSENGER MUST HAVE A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL ON CARNIVAL

All shore excursions are optional and will be charged to your Sail and Sign card. This makes it very convenient. You can log on to www.carnivalcruises.com and check out the excursions that are available. You can book early or wait until you get onboard. You will have plenty of time to sign up for the excursions the night before.

You will be required to do a pre-check-in. This is called a FUNPASS. I will send everyone a link to follow and make sure it is completed prior to departure from HOME. This is your check-in. You will need your Passport information when you are completing the form.

Airfare is totally up to you. I can assist with your airfare if you need me to. Just give me a call. You will need to fly into Vancouver BC either the day before or early on Wednesday the 8th. The ship pulls out at 5:30 PM and you’ll need to be checked in around 1:00 PM. You’ll have plenty of time to get onboard, find your cabin and start EATING. You’ll want to be out on deck when the ship pulls out. The check-in process is very simple for us because we have completed our FUNPASS and they already have all our information. Aren’t BIG GROUPS FUN! (I have also checked on how we get from Whittier to Anchorage. It is a bus ride that is approximately 2 hours long and the cost is $75 per person. Plus many of you are requesting to stay in Anchorage a few days or to travel on into Fairbanks with the train. This is considered an add-on and excursion. This will raise the cost of your trip considerably, but I will be happy to assist you in the bookings if you are interested.)

I have requested the 8:00 dinner seating. We will all be together. This helps us have all day for excursions and plenty of time to get back to our cabins and freshen up before we head out to dinner.

I am planning on just one Kona Weddings event night. I want to reserve a large room and have a cocktail party and a Vow Renewal ceremony for everyone. Danny will be performing the ceremony. Everyone will get a lei and we’ll all do the honi-honi. The rest of the trip is up to you. If you have a special story…please let me know. Everyone would love to hear how you met, why you selected Hawaii to get married, etc.

We will have one formal night. We can dress up and take a lot of photos. (I’m hoping to schedule our cocktail/vow renewal ceremony on this night.)

I hope this information is helpful. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or concerns. Once you are registered…I will be sending you monthly, weekly, and finally daily updates to keep you informed. You are welcome and encouraged to bring family members along with you. They can get the same great rate.

Aloha,
Helen
